Well this is the fullsize version of the L & Light dressed up in their j-rock outfits ;D
I just went pretty much doodle crazy on Light. L is so cute in pigtails! i swear!
This piece does actually better on paper & I'm not quite sure what function the clouds in the background serve besides just..filling it. >.> *bricked*

There are a few things that I'm not exactly happy about in this picture, but it wasnt till too late that i noticed them and i would have to ruin quite a few things & leave behind some diesel erase marks to correct them. =_=; Overall, I'm still fairly pleased with the output though.

This is the fullsize version of them for the Jrock Costume contest that :iconlxlight: is holding, and I'm going to be working on the chibi versions today >3 I'm trying to make them extra cute!

I went detail crazy as well, but I guess my 'j-rock' Light and L have a more, punk-rock-biker look common with h.NAOTO... And though still j-rock-y, it's not as much as what I was originally aiming for with me looking over Gazette [sp?], Dir en Grey, and stuff like that... Many long names I fail to spell.

Beautiful! I'm pretty much done with the line-art, so I can't do much anymore... I've been thinking of sprucing their right arms though...

Gah! I'm babbling in a comment again.

I probably would. I wish I could have both their costumes!!
At first I thought Light was wearing a skirt, and I was like "Ooh hawt~!"
I absolutely love all the zippers on Light's shirt. And the one going up the side of his tummy.
It's all so lovely.
And the "Property of Light" thing on L's wrist.
