I'm going to be hosting a joint auction with my friend :icondeathbyalice: on gaia pretty soon, and its a gothic lolita theme. So i decided to draw my avatar in a gothic lolita style!

I spent WAYY longer on it than i normally do on a piece, having been recently so inspired by :iconlouisalings: gallery.

it was $125, and she's sending it fron denmark. T__T <3333 i'm so exciteddddd. It's a good price too, she is so nice & sweet :3 I'm hoping to be able to do detailed pencil pieces like this also in the future and hopefully improve to be better <3

oh~! i forgot to say, i used a reference for her hand, from a comic book i have called Madamn Mirage. :3

edit: a DD?! Seriously?!! !!?

Maybe I just use too soft of lead, because the paper just smudges it for me. I've done the whole "left to right" thing too, but it never works.

I'm better inking it anyway. XD

beautiful as usual ^_^ The rose is really nice (and the placement XD Ah, i sound as a perverted boy, but no! tis innocent i tell you!!) and i kind of feel like i could actually touch the hair (it would be soft, btw, but very thick) and the intricate (eww spelling error..) nature of the lace is incredible!! not to mention the fact that you actually have a design going through it...

i didnt meant for it to turn out that sinister...more spindly, but i guess spindly kinda implies sinster xP (like L's hand... >.> )

oh .. ive inked like once in my life XD
im so afraid to ink xP i would love to get better at that someday...well who am i kidding xD

i used a 0.7 mechie for this piece, and they usually work out pretty well for me <3

the lace was actually much easier than it looks! i just kinda criss-crossed xP
